What courses do you offer?

We have a number of courses to help you understand the Bible better for yourself. We also offer informal one-to-one Bible based "Taste and See" sessions at our monthly Saturday morning sessions - just ask.

1. Learn to Read the Bible Effectively Course

A 7 week course to improve your Bible knowledge

The Learn to Read the Bible Effectively course is designed to give you the tools to approach the Bible with confidence. The Bible is not supposed to be a difficult book but sometimes we get put off by things that we haven't got the tools to deal with.

This course explains how to go about getting hold of the message the Bible has for you and understanding it for yourself.

2. Exploring the Bible Course (internet course)

With this 26 lesson internet course you can explore the Bible at your own pace. The course gives you an allocated tutor to whom you can ask questions, if and when you have them.

If you would like a locally based Exploring the Bible Tutor just specify you'd like an Ashby Tutor. It also has a number of additional lessons about practical living and practical outcomes. See the Exploring the Bible website for more information... www.exploringthebible.net.

3. Informal Bible discovery sessions in Ashby

As part of our first Saturday of the month morning Coffee Morning we can offer you the opportunity to "Take a Bite of the Bible". These are low-key drop-in sessions, with no obligations of any kind which can be tailored to your needs, your questions about the Bible and any related issues you might have.

Combine a snack with a chat - it's an ideal time to pop in and ask some of those questions you've been meaning to ask - who are Christadelphians? Why are you different? Does the Bible have anything to say about Afghanistan and Iraq? Why so much suffering in the world? You call the shots in asking Life's Big Questions - we will try to show the Bible answers to your questions.

4. First Step Sundays

If you feel you have big questions and no answers we offer a First Step session every First Sunday of the month. Not sure about Christianity? Not sure about faith? Not sure about your spirituality? Try our First Step Sunday.

Note: Ashby Christadelphian Church does not charge for any of our workshops, seminar courses or learning packages. They are completely free of charge, with no obligation to finish the course.

Bible Study Courses

It is no good us, or anyone, telling you what you should or shouldn't think about the Bible, the important thing is that you understand the Bible for yourself.

Ashby Christadelphians can organise classes, teaching, instruction or simple one-to-one chats to explore the Bible to suit you. Just ask.

If you find meeting someone to talk about the Bible a bit daunting we also have a number of home learning packages either by post or on the internet - with tutors to ask questions as and when you have them.
